The Vision
Lucas K. Barrett has been practicing drawing and painting in some form for most of his life, but he didn't make it a career until COVID-19 helped him realize life is too valuable to spend it in a cubicle.
His art adventure started in a weekly portrait club, where he learned he was good enough at drawing to earn approval and appreciation from the subjects. As a lover of people, this fueled his nightly practice of sketching strangers from the internet. He now collaborates with professional art models from around the world, still online, but now alongside seasoned masters the Zoom.
His landscapes are inspired by his second love, golf. A golfer from a golf family, many of his landscapes are noticeable to members at Bretwood Golf Course.
